Eligibility for Services: Families formed through adoption, guardianship, or kinship relationships are eligible for AGAPE services. Kinship eligible families include relative or non-relative caregivers who have guardianship, custody, KinGAP, or informal relationships with the child(ren) in their care.

AGAPE (Adoption and Guardianship Assistance Program for Everyone) is a free service that improves the well-being of adoptive, guardianship and kinship youth and parents/caregivers. Families will gain the support they need to thrive.

Services are family driven and may include:

  • Case management
  • Home visiting
  • Educational and/or mental health advocacy
  • Referral to community resources (e.g. therapists, recreational programs, financial supports)
  • Therapeutic parenting trainings (in-person and virtual)
  • Support groups for parents/caregivers (in-person and virtual)
  • Respite outings
  • Family fun events
  • Support groups for youth (in-person and virtual)
