This agency coordinates an array of essential basic needs and youth services in Albany, Rensselaer and Schenectady Counties.

Catholic Charities Tri-County Services provides an array of essential services throughout rural and urban Albany, Schenectady and Rensselaer counties. Programs are designed to address the unique needs of seniors, provide basic needs for all ages and offer necessary youth programs for this geographic area.

  • Camp Scully: 24 Camp Scully Way, Wynantskill, NY 12198

      • Residential summer camp, for children 7-17 years of age, and a day camp for children 5-10 years of age, located on Snyder’s Lake in Rensselaer County. Camp provides recreation and socialization to children throughout the Capital Region during the summer months.

      • This program is staffed by Community Resource Navigators who provide short term case management for Rensselaer, Albany and Schenectady Counties.

      • Provides essential services to individuals and families in both rural Rensselaer County and the City of Rensselaer. These services include a food pantry, as well as seasonal programs like holiday and back-to-school initiatives.
    • Ellis Food Farmacy Program: 600 McClellan Street, Schenectady, NY 12304

      • Serves Medicaid eligible patients, referred by a healthcare provider, who have low food access and a nutritional risk factor. The program provides short-term healthy food and individualized nutrition education support so that participants may experience the confidence and ability to address their chronic health conditions using ‘food as medicine’.

      • Provides a range of services, including a food pantry, information and referral assistance, advocacy, casework services, as well as seasonal programs like holiday and back-to-school initiatives.

      • NOEP offers free, confidential, one-to-one services that help food-insecure residents within Schenectady County get nutrition assistance. Our NOEP Coordinator helps program applicants complete and submit their SNAP (food stamp) application, works with local government offices to ensure that each application is processed correctly, and refers those in need to other community resources as appropriate

    • Provides essential services to individuals and families in Troy through a food pantry, and a creative arts program. Additionally seasonal programs are offered including holiday and back-to-school programs

      • Provides essential services to individuals and families including a soup kitchen, a food pantry, as well as seasonal programs like holiday food assistance.
    • St. John’s/St. Ann’s Outreach Center: 88 Fourth Ave, Albany NY 12202

      • Serves the community of South Albany. Providing food services through a “Welcome Table” soup kitchen as well as a food pantry. Additional seasonal programs are offered including holiday programs

      • Connects older adults residing in Schenectady County with services to feel safe and confident living at home and provides assistance with accessing aging related services. Includes assisting with non-medical needs such as grocery shopping, light housekeeping, friendly visitor, and transportation to doctor’s appointment, etc
