Clinton County Mental Health and Addiction Services 130 Arizona Ave. Suite 1500 Clinton County Addiction Services offers a level of care treatment for substance abuse and dependency issues in adults and adolescents. Psychotherapy: Also known as counseling or talk therapy. In this form of treatment, the client meets with a member of the clinical staff either individually, with a family member or as part of a group. Medication: In this form of treatment, the client meets with a member of our medical staff who prescribes medication. Consultation/evaluation: Our staff also provides a variety of services to other community agencies, including the Department of Social Services, the Probation Department, the Sheriff's Department, as well as the Criminal and Family Court system. How to get services: Come to the clinic between the hours of 8:30-12:00 Monday through Friday to register for services and be seen for an admission assessment. During the intake appointment, we will talk with you about the mental health problems you are having and their urgency or severity, and the services you would like. We will also talk with you about your financial responsibility for services. Fees: The clinic receives assistance from federal, state and local governments to assist those who could not otherwise afford mental health services. Your actual fee for an appointment will vary depending on whether or not you have a medical plan, your household income and the number of people living on that income. Your financial responsibility will be determined at the time of your first appointment. The clinic is closed in observance the New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Election Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Confidentiality: All services are confidential. The clinic follows state and federal rules and regulations governing the confidentiality of client identifying information and client records. Fees: The clinic operates primarily on the fees generated from the services that are provided. Each session is billed to the client and/or their health plan. We do receive some assistance from state and local government to cover the expense for those who are not able to pay for the full cost of services. Your fee will vary depending on whether or not you have a health care plan, how much of the cost your plan covers, your household income, and the number of people living on that income.
