Child Care Coordinating Council of the North Country (CCCCNC) – Permanency Resource Center is a free and supportive program offered to those who have adopted, have legal guardianship, or are a kinship caregiver.

Services Include:

  • Case management and home visits: Case management involves some type of monthly contact (home visit or office visit). During this time, we check in with families and provide information and referrals to families.
  • Respite care: We provide monthly respites where parents can drop off their children in our care. Children will be given dinner or snacks and will have activities (2–3-hour long) to participate in while parents can have some time to themselves.
  • Family socials: These events typically occur twice a month. Family Socials allow families to meet up, socialize, and participate in activities. Snacks, crafts, games, and other activities are provided during Family Socials. Family Socials sometimes have a theme such as Mother’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, etc.
  • Support groups for caregivers: We provide monthly support groups on a Friday, once a month. This is a time where parents can talk with other parents and get support and advice about parenting. Pizza and childcare are provided.
  • Educational workshops: Workshops are programs designed to teach and educate parents and caregivers on different topics. Sometimes workshops may be taught by a guest speaker, and they do not occur every month.
