Eligibility: Serves non-parent caregivers of children with no formal legal designation, legal custody, legal guardianship, and post-adoptive families, residing in New York City (Bronx, Kings (Brooklyn), New York (Manhattan), Richmond (Staten Island), and Queens counties)

At COAC, we understand that each family's needs are unique, and we offer a wide range of services to assist families. Our services are free and voluntary, and we offer them for the five boroughs of New York City.

COAC offers a comprehensive range of supportive services to adoptive families, guardianship families, and families where custody is informal.

Our services include:

• Caregiver workshops
• Youth workshops
• Legal assistance
• Crisis intervention
• Counseling
• Community referrals
• Legal assistance for families affected by HIV/AIDS

Our services are free and voluntary, and we offer them for both English and Spanish-speaking families.

Whether you choose to meet us at our agency or in the comfort of your own home, we are here to support you every step of the way.
